How to Use the Agents Roundtable

Here are detailed instructions for the NIICA Roundtable.

The first time you use the Roundtable, you will be asked to agree to its terms of use. Once you do so, you'll be allowed into the forum.

Once you're in, you need to create a profile for yourself. You can do this by clicking on the register link at the top of the page. You'll be prompted for various information including a user id and password. This does not have to match the user id and password provided by NIICA. You control how you're identified on the Round Table in case you prefer anonymity.

You can edit your profile at any time by clicking on the profile link at the top of the page. You can also view (but not edit) other members' profiles by clicking on the members link at the top of the page.

If all you want to do is read the messages in the forum, you don't need to log in to the forum. However, if you want to post a message, you'll need to log in by entering the user id and password you created for your profile in the box at the top of the page. Then click login.

If you check the "save password" box the first time you login, the forum will remember who you are each time you enter and you won't have to complete that step again.

When you first see the Round Table, you'll see three forums.

3. How to use this forum/site

The first forum is for general discussion of issues. The second is news about NIICA programs. The third is for questions and instructions on how to use the site.

To view the Round Table discussions, click on the NIICA Round Table link from the initial screen. You'll see a list of discussion items. Click on any topic to view the initial comment and replies.

To create a topic in the Round Table, click on the "new topic" link that appears at the top of the screen once you have entered the forum of your choice.

To reply to a topic in the Round Table, click on the "reply to topic" link that appears at the top right of the page when you're reading the topic.
