National Semiconductor Day™ (NSD), established by NIICA, highlights the essential role that semiconductors play in powering modern technology and driving innovation across industries. As the backbone of everything from smartphones to advanced medical devices, semiconductors are critical to U.S. national security and economic competitiveness.
Now in its second year, National Semiconductor Day™ will be celebrated on Thursday, November 21, 2024, during National Apprenticeship Week (NAW). This annual event brings together industry leaders, educational institutions, workforce development professionals, and apprentices across the country to recognize the contributions of the semiconductor sector and to promote the expansion of Registered Apprenticeships (RAs) in this vital field.
