NIICA invites you to attend a virtual accelerator, “Skills that Scale: Apprenticeships, Internships, and Ecosystem Solutions for Advanced Manufacturing & Tech,” on October 8, 2025 at 2 p.m. Eastern.  

 

This live virtual event will explore how Registered Apprenticeships (RAs), internships, and other earn-and-learn strategies can serve as scalable, sustainable talent solutions in advanced manufacturing and technology—offering employers, workforce boards, and education partners proven models to meet the growing demand for skilled workers.  

 

This event will touch on:

  • The Workforce Challenge: Hear why U.S. leadership in advanced manufacturing and tech depends on a stronger pipeline of skilled workers—and why traditional approaches alone will not close the gap.

  • Apprenticeship and Internship Potential: Understand how RAs and internships can provide structured, transferable pathways from interest to career, while aligning training with real operational needs.

  • Technology Accelerators: See how disruptive tools like digital twins are making onboarding faster, safer, and more consistent across facilities.

  • Scaling Solutions: Learn how skill-based hiring, earn-and-learn models, and ecosystem-level collaboration can substantially expand the pipeline of talent needed to support critical industries.
